1st Worx is a nonprofit seeking to train and develop the next generation through work, adventure, & fellowship with the guided efforts of the older generation (1 John 2:12-14)
1st Worx Objectives:
- Awaken: Stir the hearts of young men, guiding them into the frontiers of meaning and purpose in the context of work, adventure, and fellowship
- Call: Invite young men into the “Why, How, & What” of a greater story where they are needed and their story matters
- Train: Model, guide, and teach young men in the arts and ancient paths of hard work, adventure and fellowship
- Send: Deploy young men of character and action into a world that is striving for comfortable and easy
Mission Statement
To develop and initiate men of character who value service and commitment over recognition and achievement. They will be like trees planted by streams of living water, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves will never wither, and they prosper in all they do (Psalm 1:3). All who take refuge under their canopies will find rest (Psalm 91:1).
